This drop is nothing unexpected. As much as the housing market was a giant bubble, the current stock market levels are a giant bubble. The current market levels are not based on anything realistic, based mostly on speculators who are driving the market where they want it.

Too many airlines act treat its customers like 2nd class citizens. Now I wish they would fine the airlines for the excessive fee's.

Unfortunately the Fed is propping up a broken system. There was a time where people could save a year for a car, or 5 years for a house. With all of the artificial inflation of prices, the Fed just perpetuates the bloat.

You missed an Operating System in your list, Windows ME (Millennium). This OS was horribly implemented, and broken from the start. They released XP shortly after. Notice some similarities here?? It follows the same gameplan they had with Vista, then Windows 7.

One of the reasons we reached 10,000 was from banks investing bailout cash back into the market rather than making loans

I advocate not using credit cards at all, but if you do, there is no reason our prices should rise because of unregulated fees.
